“Our Soldiers, Sailors, Marines, Airmen, National Guardsmen—and the families who stand beside them—give so much to protect our freedoms. They deserve our gratitude, our respect, and the full benefits they have earned. As an Army veteran I understand firsthand the sacrifices our servicemembers and their loved ones make in service to our nation.
That perspective has guided my work in the Legislature. I have fought to ensure that Veterans and their families receive meaningful support—from protecting them against scammers who charge illegal finder’s fees for benefits the government provides at no cost, to securing student loan relief for Veterans pursuing higher education, to introducing legislation that creates a property tax exemption for honorably discharged Veterans and their families.
Veterans’ issues aren’t just policy items to me—they are personal. I will always stand with our Veterans. Supporting them is the least we can do to honor their service and the sacrifices they have made for our country.”
