I’m excited to share with you that my office is now searching for a handful of summer 2023 interns to join the Legislative District 17 Team. As a legislative intern, you will engage in legislative research, bill analyses, constituent services casework and meetings, and office communications. Ideally our chosen interns will be able to work at least one day per week starting the week of July 3 through August 30.  An internship helps give young people the opportunity to see what it’s like to work in a specific job field and gain the experience they need to learn firsthand what that position entails.

Applicants must be at least 16 years of age and reside in Legislative District 17. There will be an in-person interview held at my office for all applicants.

My annual Winter Head-to-Toe Drive is still requesting donations through Monday February 13, 2023. There are a couple of months left of the winter season, and children within our community are still in need of seasonal clothing items such as winter hats, gloves, scarves, and socks.

On Monday, November 14^th I hosted my Annual Veteran’s Day Breakfast at Stage House Tavern in Franklin Township. The event had 85 guests in attendance, as veterans from Legislative District 17 attended, and from the surrounding area.

One of my favorite ways to give back to my community and display my appreciation for their support is by hosting my pizza socials. Making homemade pizza and calzones and providing a comfortable atmosphere for my guests is always a great way to connect with my local committee people, county elected officials, and citizens of Franklin.

Every vote counts in New Jersey! Your community needs your support to elect the best candidates for your Congress, your county, and your local government. Make sure you register by Tuesday, October 18 to vote for the November 8th General Election!

On Monday May 30th, I had the pleasure of taking part in Franklin's Memorial Day Parade. It was great to be a part of such a special event on a meaningful day in my community, where we honored those veterans who have sacrificed their lives to protect our country's freedom. This was the first time the parade has been held since 2019 due to covid-19. I'm already looking forward to next years parade.
